So more diverse building types are rewarded.Fight through Mordor and uncover the truth of the spirit that compels you, discover the origins of the Rings of Power, build your At this point in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, you know how to kill enemies with stealth takedowns, unlock Forge Towers and fire arrows while in Ranged Mode. So like first tower is 100 gold, second 400 gold, third 1000 and its capped at 1000 (so you could still spam but its expensive).
It would be intresting here also if your first tower/or barack would cost much less than normal. In cossacks i love that the building costs are increasing as you build more. So there would be a playstyle to make a stronger city center fast. (the unit level system and the kill/ratios put a great twist to that)īut I agree that you didn't had the option to defend effectively in bfme 2, the best tactic was counter harassing.īut your "mines" could be also upgradeble for gold, and upgraded mines would be more strong than in the original games, harder to taken down. I think one of the things why bfme 2 is a great game is it forces you to have mapcontrol, if you camp you will have less res, than the opponent and eventually you will lose. You name building walls and battle towers, but like i said in current multiplayer it is very controversial and considered unfair and unfun to build walls and battle towers (or at least much of them).
Also i meant to add the strongholds on top of the BFME2 free build system, so you can still build everywhere. Yh i had the same mindset, just make some maps with this option available. However, if you do that option I would say that only some maps should have these build plots/ free build option while the rest of the maps just be free build like in battle for middle earth II. The building plots positioned here and there in a map is not a bad idea for small little outposts and small strongholds. It changes the game completely and forces players in the beginning to play on the defensive side until they have enough resources to build more troops or even walls and battle towers. I still believe that there should be the option of free building like in battle for middle earth II.
